Rantai Retreats consists of a large centralised living and dining pavilion with generous built-in sitting areas under an airy loft-style rattan ceiling. Two adjoining bedroom structures, a library, a large swimming pool and outside courtyards are accessed by an adjacent covered walkway, which spans the length of the villa. At the far end of the swimming pool is a tiered stone plateau with a covered bale seating 6 in comfort - it s position offers a mirage reflection of the villa in the swimming pool at night.This style is based on the concept of the traditional Balinese family compound with a separate building or bale for each function, and a license to amend the purpose of each in accordance with the comforts of modern living

The first of two air-conditioned master bedrooms is situated on the ground level - at the far end of the covered walkway. The bedroom features a king-size bed, polished teakwood floors and a luxurious indoor/outdoor garden en-suite. Folding French style doors open out onto a spacious breakfast veranda that overlooks the swimming pool and manicured gardens. Directly above is second master bedroom, which is accessed via a set of teakwood stairs at the end of the covered walkway. The bedroom also features a king-size bed with al fresco style bathroom and an open-air cocktail balcony that overlooks the pool and tropical garden setting below. A spacious air-conditioned library - with its own en suite bathroom - features a large daybed and doubles as a third bedroom.
