Ombak Luwung is a Balinese language for Magnificent Waves. The villa is a self-contained villa right on Canggu Beach and is a completely private villa situated strategically in the middle between the demanding Kuta district and the important Balinese temple of Tanah Lot where the world famous Nirvana Golf Course is located. Echo Beach, the beach where you will find one of the top surf breaks in Bali is just 300 meters up. And it takes only 20 minutes drive to reach the high-class shopping and dining districts of Legian and Seminyak from the quiet Canggu, Balinese Village.
The villa consists of five integral bedrooms. The master bedroom looks the sea and connects via a bridge to a separate bathing pavilion surrounded by a quiet pond. There is one other ocean-overlooked by the bedroom while a third connects to a private garden with a massage pavilion (built for two) and an outdoor shower. The other two bedrooms make up a two story structure situated in the middle of a giant lily pond.
The upstairs level has outgoing views out to sea and the downstairs level can be functions as a study or a media room. A disconnect dining pavilion cooled by air-conditioner, a wide al fresco living room in the traditional wantilan design that spreads up to the 17 meter, infinity-edge swimming pool, excited spa and, last but not least, the unbelievable sea view are all presented by Ombak Luwung as bonus and additional service. To enjoy the extraordinary sunsets over Canggu Beach, our delightfully antique carved rice house called ‘Lumbung’ in Indonesian language is rightly placed to supply a private retreat for the very special moment.
